The purpose in Christian Keyboarding is not only to teach people to type but to put positive Biblical concepts in front of the student.
Lesson one teaches where to put your fingers. If you took typing or keyboarding in school, you know all about "home row". The lesson immediately moves into typing the first 2 letters.
As the lessons progress, they build up to typing sentences such as, "This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."
By lesson 30, students are typing whole sections of verses such as Psalm 100.

I absolutely love the idea of Christian Keyboarding! When I have my children do their cursive or printing, I have them write verses so the concept of typing verses is an easy transition for us.

These are both great resources for teaching keyboarding or "typing". I appreciate the Bible verses and concepts that are throughout this whole program. These will be wonderful books to have around for years to come.
