Acrostic Poems

A great way to get kids writing is to show them how to do an acrostic.

Candy

Carmelo
Almond Joy
Nut-n-Honey
Dark Chocolate
Yogurt Covered Raisins

Ok, bad example! I've NEVER claimed to be a poet!

Now, you try it!

I tried doing one while singing but the room had very bad acrostics.
