Thankful Thursday ~ Are You Enjoying Your Children?

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

I am thankful for:
... my children!  I am enjoying having them home!
Is it a challenge some days?  Absolutely, but it will
be SO worth it in the end.
Some people ask me, "How can you DO that? I could never
have my kids home with me all day!"
My answer:  No?  Does God not hand pick those kids for YOU?
God  says that children are blessings.  YOUR blessings!
Why wouldn't you want blessings all around you everyday?
I CHOOSE blessing!

Here are some verses that I have considered
and have helped shape my beliefs:
Deuteronomy 6:5-9
(teach them)
Luke 6:40
(everyone will be like his teacher)
Proverbs 1:7
(fear of LORD-beginning of knowledge)
Ephesians 6:4
(bring up your children)
Romans 12:2
(don't be conformed to this world)
Colossians 2:8
(philosophy and empty deception)

Blessings be unto you and a full quiver too!

Thank you for the comment--I have not been crazy busy. Hubby was home yesterday and we baked (unsuccessfully) cookies. I AM NOT a baker! I think I'll stick to no-bake from now on ;)

I LOVE this thankful post! So, TRUE! and I am right there with you!

Thankful for my kiddos!

I don't have any children at home or near by. My adult daughter is about 900 miles away from me. She chooses to be aloof. Oh well, God is watching over her. I do enjoy children however! Merry CHRISTmas!
