Book Review ~ The Terrestria Chronicles

"The Terrestria Chronicles allegory series was written with a three-fold purpose: to honor Jesus Christ as King, to challenge young readers to love and serve Him, and to teach them to guard their hearts for Him. The focus of the series is always on the King."

Are you "Kingdom" minded?  Do you realize that we actually live in a kingdom right now?  God's Kingdom that is!  Would you like your kids to understand Kingdom principals and learn about them while reading?  The Terrestria Chronicles may be the book series for your family.  These books are great to read aloud or by kids ages 10 and up.

I was asked to review book 6 "The Golden Lamps" and book 7 "The Great War".  (These books can be read out of order.)  Each book has a moral to the story so to speak.   Book 6 is "the King's business must always be a priority" and book 7 is an overview (Terrestria style) of the book of Revelation.

This was a tough review for us.  My older son and I aren't into fiction.  Stories just aren't my thing although, kingdoms are so that is very appealing!  These 2 books are written in such a way that has a lot of conversation in them, especially in book 6.  There is a lot of switching back and forth between "quotes".  Children may find that a little confusing.

Castles, dragons, honor, knights, wars, kings and the King, are all words that describe The Terrestria Chronicles.  Written with God in mind and no magic!
