Homeschool Games ~ Review

Deborah Lott is a speech-language-pathologist.  She has designed materials for speech therapy at home. (More on that later.)  She also has wonderful games that would be great for summer!

When we were studying Egypt, we had so much fun!  That was about a year ago and with time can come lost information.

Deborah Lott's "Exploring Egypt" game came in very handy this year.  I printed it up and we began to dust the cobwebs off of our memories of Egypt.

In no time, the boys were in a healthy competition while playing the game.  It was so much fun trying to remember the facts while our game pieces were hopping up the "pyramid".  (For game pieces, we used tiny Lego parts.)

Other games:
Silly Snail - Parts of speech
Planets Moon & Stars - quiz
Explorers of the World
Covering the Continents
And many more!

Double Espresso literally begs to play the Exploring Egypt game.  It is such a fun game and definitely helps show the children that learning is fun!

Games are available at CurrClick for $3.50 each.

From the website:
The Super Star Speech materials have been designed by a speech-language-pathologist to assist parents in helping their children achieve developmentally appropriate speech and to provide some of the necessary resources to do speech therapy at home. The focus of these books is the correction of articulation (speech sound) errors.

If you think that your child may need help with their speech, go to Super Star Speech.  There is a lot of information, materials and even a blog to help you.

This was not a paid review.  All opinions are mine.
