Is life served on a silver platter?

Struggle ~ an element that is often needed to build great character and integrity.

Definitions ~ 1. to contend with an adversary or opposing force.

2. to contend resolutely with a task, problem, etc.; strive: to struggle for existence.

Do your children ever have the privilege of struggling? 
Do they ever know of your struggles and watch you persevere?
Is life served to your children on a silver platter?

How are you using situations to teach them to persevere?
